THIS MONTH'S FEATURED
PRESENTATION
This month's featured
presentation is free! Come join us and learn what hypnosis and the NGHWA is all about! You'll be
glad you did.
How To
Give Live Presentations That Rock! Keith Livingston
Most programs on how to do
public speaking will tell you how to organize your material. They'll
show you how to choose your topic and give you “tips” on how to create
compelling presentations.
You'll hear about how to make super-cool
PowerPoint slides, how to make eye contact with your audience and you might
even learn a few jokes because “Humor is an important part of every
presentation.”
Delivering your information well is important. But guess what? If all
you do is deliver your information in a logically organized,
graphically pleasing, professional manner you will never have a
presentation that rocks! Your feedback forms will say “good” not
“GREAT!”
More importantly, you'll never be able to really reach people and get
the kind of action you want out of your audience. If you're giving a
presentation you probably want your audience to do something. If
you're an NLP trainer you want them to learn and learn well (and do
the exercises and integrate the material). If you're a salesperson you
might want your audience to buy. If you are a health care expert you
might hope your listeners exercise or make better choices when they
eat or take their medication regularly.
What if there is a secret, hidden language that motivates people? What
if everyone uses this secret language but very few people use it
effectively? How much power would it add to your presentations if you
could use this language to motivate your audience, to get them to feel
compelling emotions, to like you?
Well, there is a secret, hidden language. And in order to move
people, you must communicate with your audience in that languagenot
just consciously and logically, but at the unconscious and emotional
levels as well.
So, this program is a different animal. This is not about
how to make pleasing-looking bullet
points. It's about how to reach your audience's unconscious mind. Heck, not only will you reach their unconscious minds, you'll reach inside, grab 'em
by the heartstrings and pull them to where you want them to go. You'll be more effective, sell more, be better liked and you'll move
people!
How To Give Live Presentations That Rock! shows you
how do that, how to communicate to the
unconscious, emotional level effectively at the same time you are communicating in the way most speakers do. It's multi-level communication. And all
levels of communication are pointing in the same directionto your goals.
To do this, certain skill-set prerequisites are required.
You must have some control over your
mental and emotional state. You must know how to generate powerful rapport. You should know hypnotic language patterns including the Milton Model, Sleight
of Mouth patterns and how to generate metaphor. You should know how to calibrate and anchor.
And building a high level of skill in doing all of these things at once takes time and practice. Just remember that
whatever you can add to what you are
already doing is an improvement. Each time you speak, you can add
another technique or get better at an existing skill (or both).
If there's an area in which you'd like to build skill, resources are available here...

With your skills in place, you'll learn how to use them to create dynamic, hypnotic, action-motivating
presentations. You'll feel like a rock star!
Getting really good at giving dynamic presentations takes
work, of course. Fortunately, it's the
kind of work that you dig into like you dig into your favorite meal when you're famished. It's exciting, it's interesting, it's really
fun!
Enjoy,
Keith Livingston
